If you just won a new BMW from BMW CCA, you’d be mighty happy. Some people would say, “Drop the check in the mail, thank you very much.” For W. Barry Alford, it was an easy choice to come by BMW CCA’s offices to collect since he’s a resident of Greenville, S.C., and that’s where BMW CCA is headquartered.

Barry was one of nine winners in the club’s 2007 raffle for new BMW M Z4 coupes. Winners have the choice of taking the car or a check for the equivalent of a new M Z4. The final winner (the last raffle ticket drawn) gets a partial prize check based on the fraction of tickets sold toward the final – in this case ninth – winnng car.
